Let me come up with some analogy so that my point can be better illustrated.
Say, I have no car and need to borrrow one for a week from my mate.
I have no other option - must borrow one from him and not from anybody else.
He offers me one of two $hitty old cars available.
The 'A' model has steering problems - every now and then the car can veer off by 1 meter either left or right while driving.
The 'B' model has a solid steering but its brakes are dodgy - breaking distance is much longer.

Now, which one do I pick?
I don't like any of them but have to pick one.
Which one is more likely to get me into trouble?
Over which one can I have more control?

Clearly 'A' is far too risky - what if it veers off 1 meter to my right while passing oncoming traffic ?
That would be pretty much be the end for me.

The one with the faulty breaks can get me in trouble too, but if I keep more distance between other vehicles, I'd have more chances (=less liablity) of getting myself into trouble. Still there is a chance but better this than loose steering.

So, for me the 'A' car represents Biden, 'B' is Trump.
