Planners are sales people and that's what PC is. A good sales person typically is a believer, it doesn't make them an expert. I always had my doubts about PC and MR as they are not operational/management ppl, I always saw their value from a marketing angle. My only scepticism of MF is he came from a big corporate and what you do/learn there is I would argue would not work for a startup. Eg. Not a fan of him adding more staff, office space etc without revenue to back. This is typical big corporate behaviour / field of dreams mentality. Difference is big corporate can cut their losses if it fails and still have profitable business. This is also penny stock behaviour.

Ultimately though as an investor do you think there is a market to sell into and whether it is managed in a way for it to be profitable.

I do believe that PC is more than a sales person. He's an accomplished business leader. He hasn't tried to sell the stock, because they have no need. They haven't done a CR. The only reason he has done the podcasts is for long term holders.

Your point about MF not hiring staff.. I don't understand. Surely you need the capability before you land a big contract..such as NAB. You aren't going to say, 'thanks for signing, better put an ad up on Seek'.

IAM's 'field of dreams' has hardly put the company in struggle street. The quarterly spend is ~$700k. And based on customer feedback, it has not failed. The only thing that has failed so far is the SP. It will change as soon as revenue catches up to expectation, and I'm certain that it will.
