Thinking about the likely timing JRL’s Board ( influenced by LD) will seal a deal on McDermitt that we’ve been waiting for: allowing for POCO’s results which, fingers crossed, will be very favourable, there is a good case to expect at least one of the major players, which have already been ‘in discussions’ , would want to proceed.
POSCO would be more closely circling and possibly offer a knock out blow. I can’t imagine LD would want to take on protracted negotiations. I expect in the interest of all shareholders the Board would accept a deal returning >$30 ps; even though the upside potential to $70 ps has been speculated here.
My guess is we’ll see this all come together sooner than later. ,
