I remember reading an article once that made a lot of sense regarding charge times. Point it posed was, how long would you really need to charge at night? Consider that (depending on your circumstances such as distance to work and how hard you accelerate and use regenerative braking) you may only do and use about 50-100km per day of charge which would be a third of the full charge, speeding up the process of recharging further.

The only time there would be an issue is if you require longer range.

I was talking to the old boss of Tesla Australia one time and his point was how often would you do a long distance drive? I can see a lot of hotel companies offering overnight charges with your stay to boost their sales. But that would be negligible and probably cost more when you consider flying vs time spent plus overnight stay.

Depends on everyone's circumstances. 320ks there abouts is a reasonable offering. Especially for places like the US and countries where journeys taken may not be that far. Australia's vast expanses would mean it's likely we will come online later on meanwhile oil costs will probably not increase as people jump ship.

Just my opinion and input from others I have discussed the range anxiety with.
