In the report to creditors, administrators admitted there was no possibility of unsecured creditors recovering any cash although the final total is as yet unclear. They also questioned some of the figures given in statement of affairs reports provided by directors.
Rotary, which provided air conditioning, mechanical, industrial and maintenance services, worked on a number of high-profile projects, including the construction of MediaCity in Salford. The group had a turnover of about £160m.
Hastie paid £95m for Rotary when it bought it in 2008.
