Thanks KGB......So intrinsic value can flux from 20 bucks to 40 bucks with a variation of 5% in annual growth. That's interesting. I'd be surprised if anyone can predict growth that accurately, but I guess that's effectively the same thing as saying I'd be surprised if anyone can predict share price to within +/- 50%.
The Graham formula you provided showed that clearly.
If someone thinks they can guess BHP to within a dollar or two, what they are really saying is that they can predict growth rates to fractions of percentage points. That's akin to madness in my mind. What sayeth you?
