I disagree with alot of what you say here.
Quickbooks in Australia is like a cheap rip off of Xero. Xero was the first and its product is far superior to QB. QB is playing catch up and trying to capture market share by offering a really cheap product. Xero has first mover advantage and has invested alot and continues to invest hugely in development.
If you had actually used both these products you would know. Intuit in US is a whole different beast. That will be the real challenge. But, in NZ, Australia & UK Xero is dominating.
