I'm not an accountant, though I have written general ledger, bank rec and accounts payable software.
I've seen Reckon, Intuit, MYOB and Xero in action first hand. Actually my brother is a financial controller of a national company so I have some idea about what I am looking at when I ask his advice on aspects of them. I have to do these product comparisons as part of market research for our own development.
Don't take what I am saying the wrong way, I simply just saw the original post in the HC topic list and thought I'd write something about it. Just saying, respect the competition, they have deep pockets and they will replicate usability in a flash where it matters. Xero has a good fight on its hands.
Anyway, this is far more than I originally wanted to write ha ha
