I've noticed a change in Australia day over the years. In my youth (and that was a bloody long time ago). Australia day was a flag waving day when we acknowledged the King and country. (Note "King" as that is what we had then). Now I see Australia day as for celebrating Australia and Australians where "New" Australians become citizens. They become "one of us". Aboriginals are naturally accepted as "one of us" if they choose to be or if they want to play the race card they can remain "one of them". The choice is for each individual to make their own choice.
