Not 'preferential treatment,' Beecher, more like a fair go. And if you think we don't owe them that (and more), please consider if their shoe was on your foot, and another country invaded; raped your wives, mothers and daughters, slaughtered your people en masse, then treated the survivors like feral animals (irony) for the next 200 years, then wouldn't you expect some reparation.
