the 'country' has been here for a long long long long long time

it has been inhabited by humans for a long long time

the recent invaders are the mob who killed of many of the early inhabitants, legally stated that no one existed here anyway, stole the entire bit of dirt and have proceeded to degrade the environment including fauna and flora massively

they hounded the existing inhabitants, corralled them into reserves, restricted their movements, didn't even count them in the census

you say you've done nothing wrong ------------ well, ignorance is not an excuse legally it is said

which if one extends that logic - ignorance of history is also equally no excuse

So where does this stupidity stop - caveman ugg took grugs cave now the ancient decendants want compensation, or hell your monkey anscestor took someone else's tree. The past is the past time to get over it - all those directly affected are long gone!
