I once would have agreed with you silence.... but Thomas More wrote a fantasy just as Shakespeare did in the Tempest. all very good in agrarian societies...... not a chance in hell in a global trading system.
call the means of currency credits? same thing, you've got to earn credits..... use barter? tried fro 20 years in Aus... I think Bartercard still has some profile in Sydney and Melbourne although they claim offices in main cities and regions..... they might get a boost in the covid recovery.
but how would BHP trade? how would a Govt function?
I honestly thought this back in my primo years, but the world markets must trade and so a currency is inevitable.
