I can't imagine what it's like to attend inculcation classes so you can wear two hats. Back when I was a WA kid we were taught real history and my classes comprised plentiful shamrock aboriginals until 3rd year high who I still keep in contact with, despite the best efforts of social justices trying to polarise us.
