Hi all
back from o/seas break ( well almost - in Singapore now ) with a few hrs to spare .
After further probing I have recently discovered why GRR price is weak . Metals bulletin price we have been using is a non FOB price , so to work out FOB price I am advised one must minus about 15-20 in transportation costs per tonne . If we then add the fact market is soft and GRR may be forced to sell product at discount , then GRR could truly be a break even ( even slightly loss making producer ) at current spot .
I had added to my positions at 15.5 , 15 and 14.5 , but recently exited at 16.5 -18 last 2 weeks based on above .
I apologise to the poster who raised this about 2 months ago , who I suggested lacked knowledge when it was infact I and many others who haven't understood GRR product price received
