I agree. I would like to hear why the company could not leave them there as obviously construction happens with pedestrian access maintained elswehere and safely so. It could have been positive publicity for helping their community. I saw "Filthy Rich and Homeless' on SBS last week and the organiser of the Martin Place Homeless was given a few minutes at the end to talk and he mentioned how heartbreaking it was for them to be 'moved along'. He seemed like a decent man just trying to help people. Worth supporting and an opportunity missed I'd say. Might be good for Investa to try to make some effort to support them (they are now across the other side of Martin Place in tents), negate the negative PR.
