Im curious what you think AVZ might achieve in a take-over situation?
I know KE has been involved in takeovers before and to me the terms seemed like a give-away. Was that because he wouldn't have been able to finance the development of the project due to it being in the Congo and complexities that would entail?

"The DRC project, which is at an advanced stage of exploration, has a Joint Ore Reserves Committee mineral resource of 22,5-million ounces of gold, which Randgold will operate."

22.5M Oz of gold for approx $550M dollars.
Sounds like a steal and Thats was after 4 years of exploration proving up the resource.


I just dont think KE will be too worried about spending too much time trying to get a mega deal. He has his hand in so many pies at much earlier stages of development, i.e much more upside that I think he is likely to concentrate on them more going forward. The big money has already been made here for him and I think he will be happy to flip it and move onto the next project to get the big gains.
