You are kidding right?
The USD is the world reserve currency.
Australia is part of the world.
Gold is part of the world currency system.
Sure let's weigh it all up and provide balance - but surely we want to see Gold as the ultimate fiat currency hedge and for it to rise in all currencies or in at least the basket of currencies which are most traded (eg EUR, GBP, AUD, JPY, USD, CHF)......?
