Agree. The Astron project offers substantial economic benefits, including job creation and increased local investment. It can revitalise communities facing population decline by generating well-paying jobs and supporting local businesses. It will lead to infrastructure improvements benefiting the entire region. The project will address critical minerals shortage.
No developments have ever occurred without impact, but the overall costs and benefits need to be analysed, and the impact minimised wherever possible. This is the purpose of the regulatory process, which, if I am not mistaken, has already taken more than a decade, with refined procedures and rules established along the way.
