"In a separate announcement on Tuesday, PGN said it was in the process of completing a 30-kilometer gas pipeline in eastern Banten province. The pipeline will have the capacity to transport 216 mmscfd.
The pipeline is a section of PGN’s plans to build a 1,111-kilometer gas pipeline connecting South Sumatra directly to West Java. This mega project was first announced by PGN in 2005 and estimated to cost more than $1 billion.
Pertamina and state utility Perusahaan Listrik Negara on Monday inked a major national gas sale agreement."
