As to buying; I had been buying ARG at its peak, the same as AUI. I have no regrets, considering I have owned these for some time and will continue to own them and accumulate them. The reason? I am not an active investor (and very few should try to be). Any low cost, quality LIC - buy it over time. You are never going to be able to pick the right price and the right time (thats guaranteed), but what you want to do is avoid the wrong price and wrong stock. Making sure you own a piece of Australian business (through quality LICs), and you dont buy all at the one time. This is not hard nor nothing new. Patience and time are the key to successful and rewarding investing.
