    I don't think they are working towards a merger.

    The announcement says:

    "Binding transactions may involve shareholder approval processes and changes to Board representation."

    So I read that as working closely together, not merging.

    As I have stated previously I don't think FMS shareholders would do very well out of combining BCK at ~$500m and FMS at ~$80m.
