Well its confirmed they've lodged an appeal to the HC as widely anticipated by the market. Prima facie they seem to be clutching at straws here over the issue of whether the Sullivan permit should be considered to be part of the existing environment relating to the Escarpment Mine Project.
The potential one long term positive from all of this is the legal precedence these dopes are effectively creating for future mining applications. Their goal was and is clearly is still to deter anyone ever considering mining in NZ again. They may have just created the rule book on how to fast track future applications.
