Investor Due Diligence

So, I'm looking at DEG, wondering whether I've missed the boat. In my due diligence I've come up with a few questions. Would appreciate it if followers of the name could help me out.

So, should I assume the executive chairman is the same Simon Lill that was investigated by ASIC and ultimately sent to prison for eighteen months on two counts of improperly using his position as a director ? Or is it someone different ?

And, is the Ed Eshuys the same Ed Eshuys that two directors of SBM told a court of law they were so unhappy with chief executive Ed Eshuys's management that they did not believe he should receive a performance-linked payment when he left in early 2009. Or is it someone different ?

Has anyone else questioned the 'width' reported in the DEG announcements ? Drawing a horizontal line across the bottom when the multiple shoots are dipping looks to be a bit disingenuous. My estimate would suggest the width is actually closer to c.100m.

Finally, is this a case of history repeating ? Back in 2004, DEG made the Wingina Well discovery with some impressive results including 44m @ 4.3, 46m @ 4.6, 28m @ 6.4 and 13m @ 8.0. The strike length was 600m with drilling down to c.200m depth. The company won AMEC prospector of the year...then released its resource...3.4Mt at 1.8g/t. Market was underwhelmed to say the least.
