Reading through Brainchip’s investor presentation May 2025, the included disclaimer really stood out, and imo not in a good way.We know most companies include legal disclaimers about forward looking statements, and that’s fine. But this one goes much further than anything I’ve seen before. It basically says the company;•Doesn’t guarantee the accuracy of the info,•Doesn’t stand behind their assumptions,•Admits they haven’t verified the information, and•Describes everything as “intrinsically subject to significant uncertainties.”That’s a lot of outs and a lot to take in. To me, it feels like the company is saying, here’s our strategy and projections, but just don’t rely on ANY of itIt makes me wonder If the company isn’t confident enough now to stand behind behind their own documents ,so then why publish them? Investor presentations are supposed to help people understand and assess the business and raise interest and grow confidence, not just throw out ideas with zero accountability hiding behind tricky disclaimersIt might be a legal shield, but for mine it doesn’t inspire trust. In fact, it comes across as the opposite, a warning that you shouldn’t trust anything in the document. And from what I understand even ASIC doesn’t accept disclaimers as an excuse if statements turn out to be misleading. So the disclaimer might protect the company in theory, but it won’t stop regulators or shareholders from asking serious questions on presented contentMy opinion but curious if others feel the same has the Co now gone too far?
