Zoeller, agree with your comments regarding share prices but I think, particularly in respect to traders, that there is a psychological factor that comes into play when it takes only a tenth of a cent plus to give one a certain profit instead of a full cent plus for the equivalent percentage gain. Nonsensical I know but just the way it is.

For the benefit of those unhappy with the lack of sp movement I have recently started looking back at the history of Oxiana Resources (OXR), having referred to it a short while back. While I haven't made huge progress so far I have noted that the sp appeared to be around the current level of AVB, or maybe a little higher (the only chart I've found so far only goes back to just prior to Jan'01) & only started its' real rise near the end of August '01. By Jan'02 it was over 20c, by Jan'03 close to 50c & around Oct'03 it had risen sharply to a little over a $1. Over the next few months it slipped back to around 80c but rose sharply again in Nov'04 when OXR signed a mining agreement with the government of Laos. An article in ''The Age' on Nov 15'04, prior to that signing, refers to the company being valued by the market at $1.2 billion with the shares having closed the previous friday at 98c.
For anyone interested I found the chart at 24hGold.com
Hopefully that all backs up what certain posters have pointed out, that it all takes time, but I can more appreciate now how quickly AVB are moving forward.
