Also could you please explain why Citi and HSBC would sell down at such low prices when they could easily let the price slowly rise and sell on the way up ?
Keeping the price low so they can sell doesn't make sense to me. Selling down only benefits you if you want to accumulate.
Unless you want to reduce the size of your profit. And that again doesn't make sense to me.
And James was referring to small trades of 1 share and multiples of 1 share trades. Especially those at the end of the trade auctions
