Goals set till 2022, but I didn't notice any mention of how G8 are going to cover the costs associated with the additional staffing requirements, legislated from January 2020.

ACECQA states that; from 1 January 2020, providers of long day care services and preschools/kindergartens will need to have a second early childhood teacher or, alternatively, a 'suitably qualified person' in attendance when 60 or more children, preschool age or under are being educated and cared for.
Services located in NSW are unaffected by these changes, as additional ECT staffing requirements have been in place for several years.

Excluding NSW, G8 currently have 314 centre's in Australia. An additional ECT, in the middle of the pay scale, based on experience would cost a centre around $71,240 per year, including superannuation etc.,

If we assume that only half of that number, because of size and current staffing levels will require to employ and additional ECT, the cost per annum would be around $11.2m.

Something for long term holders to keep an eye on and discuss with management.
