    Ultimately, reducing size would be advantageous.. we could fit more cells in small spaces.....but can 60nm still be useful for various applications...?

    The reality is that the cell is cubical, but relatively speaking, smaller than most eukaryotic cells...(animal cells)...as the smaller eukaryotic cell is app 10 micrometres or 10000 nm in diameter. Given a circular shape, that would be app. 75million sq nm. Huge, compared to the reram cell...
