I'd be surprised if reducing labour hire companies opportunities will be replaced by direct employment - the cost of hiring & de-hiring permanents is extremely high. Having the ability to outsource for specific needs provides flexibility & cost effective!

As for NDIS - a great initiative introduced by Labour, they were advised to hold off & ensure the right structures were in place - Labour following the socialist empathies chose to fast track it & did not put many of the checks & balances in place to limit the "rorting" that appears to be happening by some providers - the level of transparency to recipients via NDIS website fails to enable them to track activity! Recipients and their nominated carers/managers need to be able to validate what services have been charged & by whom - to my understanding this is not the case!?
Check / Balances / Transparency is required to "shake out the Rorters" and allow the benefits to flow to those deeply in need & appreciuative of NDIS support!
