Australian market is not that relevant. 80% of ALD is owned by the top 20 and getting tighter by the day and most of those are in the UK. The problem has been that some of these are institutions were forced to sell when investors want their money back during the crash.
Important for caruso to give them some confidence. If he can turn them from sellers to buyers ALD will run big time.
Barrick not interested unless they find the big stuff. ALD reserves not big enough for them yet. Barrick doing heaps of exploration starting about now. If they come up trumps ALD would be small change for them at a dollar.
161k shares is reasonable volume for London, not a huge amount available. Most of their buying is done through brokers in Perth and so with 161k going through tonight we can expect even more orders to go through Perth early in the morning. Price in Londoan right now is $0.323 and therefore would not surprise me to see $0.30 to $0.35 in the morning. Looking good. Still think there could be a placement in the 30's.
