How can Frank or directors buy shares prior to the release of statutory half year results ?

My understanding was the company policy was for a closed period for directors trading shares , one of which is prior to results .

Plus

When did the directors by these the shares ?

Was it a coincidence they both all of a sudden chose to buy in a lock out period , both at a similar time , and just after the announcements regarding a company update , and investor presentation report ?

The buying helped create a feeling that the market was rewarding the announcement , when really it was directors actions .

Will we see a load of options exercised in the next few days create more selling , back to 80c or will this buying of $25k of shares by the directors be considered as a reason for others to follow .

Personally I think the market is to smart for that
