I've been thinking ..... and when the pain subsided .... I concluded that Iain may have been referring to the volume of the Saturn structure as shown by the 2D seismic and not from the analysis of the 3D seismic.
The size of the Saturn area of interest IMHO will be radically enlarged now that we have taken 3D analysis of 6500 sq kms and from what we have learned from the results of the Mopane discovery and the extent that Galp found that the structure went out to. Also the extent that the Venus structure extended to beyond what was the original projected.
The comment made about having an OIL Kitchen which is robust enough to fill the structure was, in my opinion, a question that could be answered by the results of the Total, Mopane, Jonker and Graff discoveries .... they were filled to spill so the Oil Kitchen is robust and extensive.
The recent entry of BP and ENi into the area indicated that the super majors are elbowing their way into the area not to miss out on the bountiful new World Oil Provence.
I think that Esso are the only one not represented .... someone should tell them of our percentage just to wet their lips ....
We would have to be the unluckiest company on the planet for this not to be a massive discovery.
