    You're right people will, and sure.. people want to save dosh but still it clearly shows investors are responding to tightening (which is what you'd expect from historically high valuations / debt). Who do you suspect will be more sensitive to a change in rates:

    a) depositors
    b) owner occupier mortgagors
    c) investment mortgagors

    What's interesting about the data is that investors obviously prefer the interest savings (disregarding whether they're rorting the system) than to stick with a higher rate and claim the loss from their 'other' income. Guess it turns out it's better for the whole to save 0.25% on interest.
