You are right. Right now I look at it as Brainchip has turned into a bit of a dog shot. I took a large hit at 27c a month or so ago, with a buy of 40c which was a chunky enough loss to pull out at. The bright side was some nicer gains to nearly recoup my original loss on other stocks. The Aus Asx has been doing ok and gains are there, so don't get stuck with a dog. All I would like to say is don't torment yourself on a stock, especially one with a crew of management that doesn't align with shareholders.
I check in daily and don't worry will put lots back in here when fortunes shine, but until I see something, like a monetary gain, (that aannouncement we all really wait for) im staying on others right now, sure I might lose a few cents but gains elsewhere are better than sitting here on a massive loss when you can recoup some losses on the sideline on other stocks with the intention to jump back in as soon as a glimmer of goodness arises.
Not for everyone I know, but in the last month I have picked up 10k, which Brainchip hasn't given.
I'm a diehard Brainchip fan, but we are here to make money. So until I see a good buy-in opportunity, I will play the market elsewhere.
It's a change for me, a good 50% of my shares and is working right now.
PS for the record my Super was at level 7 high leveraged risk for the last 20 years making great gains and have just put it all into cash and fixed interest, scared of a US recession and nutcase policy. (after holiday tariffs scared the hell out of me with a nutcase in charge)
