Eagle Technology signs Reseller Agreement with Nearmap
Auckland, NZ (9 June 2020) — Eagle Technology is pleased to announce that it has signed a reseller agreement with Nearmap, one of the ten largest aerial survey companies in the world by annual data collection volume, specialising in high-resolution aerial imagery.
Nearmap collects imagery using patented, airplane-mounted camera systems to cover wide land areas at high-resolution in a short amount of time, and publishes up-to-date orthographic imagery of 73% of the New Zealand population within days of capture.
Easy to use, Nearmap subscription-based model allows access to high-resolution imagery in the cloud, from any device, that can be accessed via Nearmap web application, ArcGIS, or through integrations with other major GIS and CAD platforms.
In New Zealand, Nearmap covers 14 urban areas encompassing more than 18,890 square kilometers annually and growing. New content for major New Zealand cities is added frequently at a minimum resolution of 6cm GSD, providing both currency and quality of imagery. Selected populated regional areas are updated at least once a year. Nearmap imagery consists of both recently captured and historical imagery — allowing for comparisons and aiding survey data.
