If holders wish the market to view the stock true to (or more inflated than) its financials, then management of expectations is critical.

The more you pump announcements in the ASX portal, the more holders/traders get hooked on them, and the more volatile the reactions are when there is a perceived poor one. And since we know the market is not a great judge of announcements in isolation, they are mini-binary events that are best avoided.

If a company slaps down chunky Q on Q growth, with occasional /seasonal burst events, the SP will move just fine.
