My quick analysis of the presentation overall: first, I'll comment on the new information revealed, then second, the mode of presentation
1. The new information -
Alluded to announcement in 1 month re ?cashflow and porduction.
Alluded to other discussions now "in writing".
Alluded to discussions with Ivanhoe, Exco.
Alluded but wouldn't comment either way to uranium!!
2. Mode of presentation -
Was like an old bloke around a campfire; rambling on;
Took too long.
Disguised the facts among rambling.
Got facts wrong.
Didnt use a written presentation (could have paid a 1st year Geology/Bus student $200 to write his presentation).
Didn't highlight the major priorities.
I was left with less knowledge about the indiviual resources than prior.
Very poor response to the market cap question - was very simple question requiring a simple answer - I'm still not sure what his answer was (?90mill, but I wouldnt trust the rambling maths he gave us)
O'all - He should not be allowed to represent this company at a publicci forum again without significant oversight by the Board or someone with basic presentation/marketing/sales skills.
(I have a large holding in this company and cant believe its in his hands. The new employees need to get up front today, or better yesterday. HR probably has a role in thsi company but not as MD - we as holders need to put HR in the right place.)
