While I don't doubt their were "mania" investors that took a punt after reading one article, the serious action came once traders saw the deep cup take form, the rise was basically inevitable from a TA perspective. The first run up to 11c started at <3c. People where sitting on huge profits so plenty of selling happend, almost half of all shares turned over at this price. The immense selling pressure coupled with a saturated buyers market saw the price plummet down to 6c. But volume stayed low, heaps of holders got in at higher prices with no desire to sell, which is why the price leaped so easily back up to 11c. If you only look at price, and nothing else, you can get all shocked about the recent gains and speculate that it was because of one publisher (mind you, their subscriber base isn't that much bigger than DCCs Facebook community), but truth is, this is the price most sellers were at the whole time.
