All Japan and South Korea maccas have said that they intend to use Aussie beef.
In addition to this, 15,000 - 20,000 of US downer's (i.e. those cows that can not walk) are not allowed to be processed in the USA anymore! Based on $500 per head, this equates to $7,500,000 - $10,000,000 a year that the USA will lose in money each year,which presumable will to be picked up by Australia.
And yes maccas share price did rise due their (bullshit) statement that their was no effect on demand for US beef from their restaurants (even though several restaurants in Japan and Korea said demand for US beef had deteriorated considerably) and due to beef prices falling due to the shakeout.
All in all, an exciting future for AAG.
* NTA of $1.52 per share
* PE of around 12
* and strong cashflows, management and earnings.
