Evening fellow holders, at last it seems that IVZ is starting to get the attention it deserves, the potential here is something else.
I bought my first parcel of IVZ stock back in Aug 2018 and have done quite a bit of reading and comparisons in that time and have been down over 80% on my investment last year when the SP was languishing in the high 1c low 2c.

Below i'm gonna post some links to presentations that may or may not have already been seen, some are quite in depth, others are not and make for easy reading.

Some important information came out last week in the 'Next Oil Rush' article, this being the comparison with Recon Africa's own project which is also along an extension of the Karoo formation in Namibia & Botswana. Check out their project and their research papers on their website.
As the home page proudly displays this comment at the bottom of the page.

“Nowhere in the world is there a sedimentary basin this deep that does not produce commercial hydrocarbons.”
—Bill Cathey President, Earthfield Technology (Houston)

Now remember IVZ's project is deeper.

I think we all acknowledge any sort of potential geo-political risk here, what we have to remember is that Zimbabwe, as a country, is as far on its knees as it could get and it needs investment to get out of that hole. Natural resources are one of the only ways they will ever do that.

On a macro scale, where else globally is investment going to be able to bring in high single figure / low double digit growth moving forward, believe me it certainly isn't going to be the developed western world and eyes are already looking towards the African continent and in particular sub-saharan Africa.

Anyway, some links below (hope they work).

2015 Preso by Brent Barber (IVZ Technical Director, Ex Mobil) on the Karoo formation in the Zambezi Basin (Cabora Bassa). Quite in Depth.

Recon Africa's presentation on the Karoo formation: https://reconafrica.com/wp-content/uploads/Karoo-Related-Basin-Forming-Fault-Systems-in-Northern-Namibia.pdf

In 2017 Brent gave a talk at the Geological Society of Zimbabwe summer symposium - a summary of his presentation says:

While still on exploration, Brent Barber reminded us that there is still the possibility of
viable hydrocarbons in the Zambezi Valley. Mobil completed extensive exploration in
the early 1990’s and although the seismic surveys suggested that the area held potential,
the play was considered to be gas-prone and not oil-prone. However, the geology of the
area indicates that the maturity of the source rocks, suitable migration routes under
impervious seals, and structural traps are all present in the Zambezi Valley. These have
similar characteristics to producing basins elsewhere in the world and suggest a potential
of 3.1 TCF of gas with 241 mmbl of condensate. This will be investigated under Special
Grant 5741 gazetted in August 2017.

I can't find the full preso but tThe GSZ Newsletter summary document can be found here: http://www.geologicalsociety.org.zw/sites/default/files/documents/GSZ%20NL%20Feb%202018.pdf

Obviously this seismic data has now been reviewed and the potential for 9TCF of gas has been announced - do the math on both 9TCF and then maybe curb your enthusiasm and do it on 2TCF and see what this project could be worth - Hint: It's a lot of zero's.

More Karoo Formation & Regional activity / drilling info presentation (i stumbled across this and can't find it on IVZ website some may find it interesting).

Finally a general 'meet the management' overview on IVZ from Jan 2020 - Those who are new to small cap / speccie investing may not know but Mr De Mori is usually found backing projects that will have an extremely good chance of success and return on investment.

    Good luck & DYOR
