Alexium signs sales and distribution agreement with iTextiles 0 comment
Alexium International, a leading developer of chemical solutions, has signed an agreement with distribution partner iTextiles for sales and marketing of Alexium’s environmentally friendly fire retardant (FR) chemical products in Europe.
The two senior sales representatives, Dalia Silvia Benefatto and Federica Albiero, who have a combined 38 years experience representing major companies such as Invista, Dow and Freshtex in Europe, will be dedicated to sales and marketing of Alexium’s FR formulations.
Both Dalia and Federica, who are based in Italy, will formally commence work in three countries, Italy, Germany and the Czech Republic, initially addressing six customers, who have expressed a desire for both iTextiles textile products and Alexium FR formulations as a whole product solution.
Successful marketing campaign
Mark Valdario, Deputy Vice President of Sales and Special Projects for Alexium, will be travelling this month to meet with the iTextiles team. Mark will be discussing issues such as co-branding and marketing between the two companies.
Due to a successful marketing campaign at Techtextil, a leading international trade fair for technical textiles and nonwovens that took place in Frankfurt, Germany, earlier this year, Alexium’s rollout into the European market has been accelerated in order to meet the customer-specific needs. These initial sales opportunities are in the automotive, work-wear and military fabrics markets.
“We are excited to participate and work directly with Alexium to help push through eco- friendly technologies to multiple markets to meet the ever expanding European demand,” said Mujeeb Khan, President and CEO of iTextiles.
Strong reputation
Nicholas Clark, CEO and Executive Director of Alexium International, added: “I am delighted to announce this new partnership with iTextiles, which will drive our sales in the European marketplace. This partnership will build on Alexium’s strong reputation in the United States military and automotive markets.”
“I am looking forward to working with Mr Khan and iTextiles over the coming months to realise great near-term results,” he added.
iTextiles is a leading textiles trading company based in Pakistan, which represents premium textile products from international companies like Lycra (Invista – USA), Protex (Kaneka Corp – Japan), Silvadur (Dow Chemicals – USA), Alexium (Alexium International – USA), Lurex (The Lurex Company – UK), Aramid Fibers and Yarns, AP Xpress (garment accessories), and more.

Hi Cracker I know I said was going to stay away for a little while, but this post interest me . Have you had a look at who these people deal with? INVISTA they make everything from carpet( stain master) to nylons ,Lycra, work-wear and many other things and you guessed it POLYMERS. I may be completely of my rocker but a very good fit for Alexium. Any thoughts anyone? or am I barking up the proverbial wrong tree.
