Let me understand this correctly... you want a finance / business analyst to comment on the FDA recent approval of a drug trial (based solely on safety, not efficacy)?
From a medical point of view? From a financial point of view? From a humanitarian point of view? What could you possibly hope to achieve with this "invitation to comment"?
It's pretty simple analysis:
Medically: it's safe (let's hope it's also effective)
Financial: Were not funding the trial - thank god
Humanitarian: Hope it works out for those poor kids.
