i wonder if all this has anything to do with the last shareholder vote for the Yibin deal ?? From memory it got the nod but not by much . Huayou have roughly 230 million shares i think and they would have voted no so it would have taken alot of retail holders to cover off the Huayou vote , and a lot of retail didnt even bother to vote !! So in the event of a take over or something along them lines maybe management are trying to shore up some support by engaging with the large retail base of AVZ ,,??
