Beware of Ron Brierley. He is a corporate raider and strips and flips. I had exposure to him in NZ from an investment position. He is not interested in creating wealth for shareholders, it's all about wealth for him. That was a long time ago (80's / 90's) but he is not someone I would be relying on. Brierley Investments, as it was known, rode high on the back of investments in companies that had little backing. then the GFC came and he went through rather hard times. Anyway, that was a long time ago.
