The global downturn has meant RIO , BHP , Fortescue have all put off plans for expansion and even some orders have been cancelled from the Chinese. South American io producers have reduced production by 40% due to the lack of demand.
Yes the io boom will get going in the future but do people honestly think ady can survive until then?
Without a jv i believe there will be no future for ady past mid to late 09 i'm sorry to say.
They couldn't find a loan for a measely 10 miilion even when they had Rll a huge future money spinner with li and potash , let alone a 40 million loan to build a port to export a mtpa of ore.
