Yeah bit of a joke, with the IO price hitting over A$200 in recent days we are still hearing squat.
You are right, we were told "The Company has structured its Paulsens mining operations in such a manner that further shipments can be made on relatively short notice."
We were also told in only Feb/Mar last year that this project would be profitable or "attractive" at a price of just over A$150 a tonne.
So why no news??? Although I'm not totally discounting your theory of being fed a load of BS (wouldn't surprise me with these guys), I think it's probably more around a lack of funding to kick it off again.
Considering our main option for funding now would be to sell some LEL shares, the fact that they seem unwilling to do this at this time says to me that hopefully a deal for LEL may not be too far off (although these guys do have a habit of disappointing), and they are waiting for inevitably higher prices.
If a deal is not in the immediate future then they should definitely be exploring alternative funding options (perhaps a prepayment option), otherwise we could be destined to miss yet another cycle.
If anyone is heading to the AGM maybe they could hit them up about their concrete plans to get this thing going again, not just the normal cut and paste statement that gets trolled out every three months.
