States: In the case of Brockman Resources ,it is a combination of both CID and of Detrital iron which makes the project somewhat unique.BRM 5/3/08 said 1.1 billion tonnes at 44.2% Fe with average weight recovery of 47%

The Itabira district was the original home of CRVD activities and currently involves a number of their operations,Itabirite occurs as hard high grade 67% Fe hematite and as friable lower grade 45-50% Fe that must be upgraded.These lower grade ores have a high percentage of friable iterbirite compared to hematite ore and require concentration to achive shipping grades,this is done by standard crushing,classification and concentration steps to produce sinter feed lump ore and pellet feed.

Diamond drilling to date has intersected lower grade Hematite mineralisation to vertical depth of up to 400 metres, this mineralisation lies below the high grade supergene Hematite and is potentially similar to the itabirite Hematite found in a number of major iron ore projects in the Minas Gerais area of Brazil. These Brazilian projects are based on upgrading of itabirite ore (Grading 40%-50% Fe)by conventional grinding and reverse flotation to produce high grade concentrates and premium pellet feed typified by very LOW alumina and phosphorus contents.This was with a weight recovery of +40% and Fe recovery of +65% Major Brazilian Itabirite projects.
