Correct, EQX directors and management own more than 10% of the company, and have remuneration packages that feature shares quite considerably. To try and suggest that they wouldn't care about shareholders and the share price is a little perplexing.
I think the company has a very clear value message, it's to produce a premium product using infrastructure already in place. The problem is that the company hasn't released any figures to back up the plan, and we are experiencing negative sentiment in the IO sector at the moment. Negative sentiment + no facts/figures released yet + not producing anything = falling share price. The best way to remedy this is to release the Scoping Study, and to inform the market of how the CAPEX (what ever it may end up being) will be funded. Until these things are done, we will drift.
Releasing a 1 page document saying the company thinks it is undervalued would nothing for the share price. The quarterly will be released before the end of the month to give an update on how things are progressing as well as letting us know the cash balance as at 31/03/13.
