"In Australia, BHP will close two shipping berths at Port Hedland in the second half of the year to install new ship loading equipment, causing some supply disruption," Mr Pervan said.
"Combined with the prospect of industrial action by tugboat workers, exports of iron ore from Australia could be affected in a period where shipments are expected to rise."
