There's no way that America would want to be responsible for plunging the world into recession, by leading the way there themselves.

It will be just like Greece, and, although impactful, not the end of the world, and I'm very confident that we will all be seeing it as a massive anti-climax when it's announced that they have come to an agreement in a week, fortnight/month from now.

They're just politicians being politicians. Unfortunately, we're being dragged along with it temporarily.
